My journey towards becoming a Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor began after sustaining my own lower back injury which gave me sciatic pain. During the process of trying various therapies and treatments to relieve my pain and to help my body to heal, I discovered Pilates. It very quickly became a vital part of my recovery and in gradually improving the strength, flexibility, and mobility of my muscles, particularly in my core, my back and leg pain started to ease. As a result, I was able to return to the activities I enjoyed so much prior to sustaining the injury. Taking part in regular Pilates sessions, alongside my regular chiropractic adjustments, has become a huge part of my life and has benefitted me not only physically but mentally and socially too.

I understand how it feels to be in very intense pain and how much of an impact this can have on your life, mental health, and general wellness. It is my hope to play a part in peoples recovery, rehabilitation and maintenance on their journey to a happier and healthier lifestyle.

I currently hold my Level 3 in teaching Mat Pilates and I’m working towards my Level 3 in: Exercise Referral, Pre and Post-Natal, Exercise for Older Adults, Nutrition and Level 4 in Low Back Pain.

About Pilates At Radcliffe Chiro

Katie offers 30 or 60 minute one to one sessions which are bespoke to your recovery, rehabilitation and or maintenance. Exercises are selected specifically for you to improve posture, general strength, and flexibility as well as joint stability and mobility. The first session will include a consultation where we can agree on what you wish to achieve throughout the sessions. It is essential that you can get yourself on and off the floor by yourself to take part in Pilates.
