About Us

The Chiropractic profession is primarily known for the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders through correcting joint alignment.

However, the anatomy of your body means that your brain is ultimately responsible for all its actions, including healing.

At Radcliffe Chiropractic our approach is to address issues of the neuro – musculoskeletal system to treat not just your pain, but to improve your quality of life for the long term.

We pride ourselves on being very thorough in order to help you get well but more importantly stay well.

Our aim at Radcliffe Chiropractic is to help our community understand where their health may have come apart and empower them to build it back. We see a whole range of patients from pregnant mothers-to-be, new-borns, adults, athletes and all the way through to seniors. As chiropractors we understand the stresses and strains of modern life are causing more people to become sick and struggle to get well without medicine. Chiropractic adjustments work by assisting the healing ability of your central nervous system by reinstating communication between your brain and spinal cord through a Chiropractic Adjustment (sometimes known as a manipulation).

We undertake a thorough series of tests to assess all areas of your health including nervous system function, stress scores, heart rate variability and underlying structure using our on-site digital x-ray system. We will work on your specific aims to make sure our care is tailored to you. This detailed approach is how we can get your body feeling and functioning better not just in the short term, but in the long term as well.

We don’t just focus on pain, we focus on restoring your health. You will always hear us use the analogy:

“If your car was making horrible noises, you’d take it to the mechanic to find the cause. Simply turning up the radio in your car is never a great idea to cover the noise up. The same is true with our bodies and pain…”

Jack’s first exposure to chiropractic was in his late teens. Like many, after an injury, he was left with the feeling of “why is my body not healing?”

After being exposed to far too much pain medication and even a steroid injection through the NHS, he was recommended to try Chiropractic. This led him to study for 4 years at University and gain a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic.

During his time as a chiropractor he has learnt more and more the power of care chiropractors can offer to people and the incredible changes possible. These are even more spectacular to see in patients who have “tried everything”. His aim as a chiropractor is to educate people about chiropractic and our belief at Radcliffe that it is about much more than pain alone. With over 10 years experience in Chiropractic his highlights have been numerous and wide ranging from helping mum’s to be (link to pregnancy page) to Olympic athletes.

Outside of the practice Jack enjoys what he calls a “chiropractic lifestyle” enjoying time with his wife Emma and their baby – Max. He loves to look after his health he is a keen cyclist and gym enthusiast and has previously completing at Ironman Triathlon. He has high personal standards on what he eats, how he exercises and makes sure his brain is as sharp as possible with regular practice of meditation/mindfulness and breathwork. He’s always keen to share his long acquired knowledge with practice members

How To Find Us

We’re on the A52/Grantham Road just outside of the main village centre of Radcliffe-on-Trent.

If coming from Nottingham City Centre direction (North East Bound on A52), we recommend turning RIGHT into Hillside Road then LEFT onto John’s Road to The Practice. This will save you from doing a potentially dangerous RIGHT turn directly off the main road.
